All these are created from Fathead dough, which in case you are unfamiliar is essentially made out of cream cheese and melted mozzarella blended with other ingredients along with Almond flour. I have used it to create Pizza Pockets, and Pizza Crust, Bagels -- for less than two carbs per serving. Dough appears to be a idea, but whomever developed the idea proved to be a genius since it's a replacement for a lot of our favorites that are carb-loaded.
Since I have had much luck in pizza and bagel applications, I decided to find out what other applications I might find for this.
INGREDIENTS
- 2T Butter
- 2 Egg Whites
- 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
INSTRUCTIONS
- Make the dough as you would a Fathead soup: Pour the cream cheese and mozzarella cheese in a bowl, in intervals. Mix well until thoroughly blended.
- Working quickly, add sweetener, the butter, egg whites, vanilla, almond milk and baking powder .
- Work the dough with your hands, until they are blended, mixing the wet and dry ingredients, without the pockets of almond or cheese milk.
- Turn out the dough and then roll into a cone. Wrap the dough into paper and set it in the fridge to cool.
- Cut on the cylinder of bread put on a parchment lined baking sheet, and bake for 15-17 minutes.
